CADC AUDITIONS 2011-2012

It’s that time of the year again! CADC (Chinese Association Dance Crew) will be having our 2011-2012 Auditions!

Workshop Dates
Monday, October 10 - 7:00 PM @ ARC Basketball Courts
Tuesday, October 11 - 7:00 PM @ ARC Basketball Courts
Wednesday, October 12 - 7:00 PM @ ARC Basketball Courts

Make Up Workshops
Saturday, October 15 - 12:00 PM @ Social Science Parking Structure (Floor TBD)

Audition Day
Sunday, October 16 - 7:00 PM @ Crawford Hall Gym


A Few Logistics:
- No dance experience necessary!
- You do not have to be CHINESE to audition
- You MUST be a FULL TIME UCI Undergraduate student
- You MUST register to become a part of CHINESE ASSOCIATION in order to audition (Chinese Association will be boothing at workshops and auditions with applications)
- CADC is a year long commitment, we practice every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, with occasional Hell Weeks before competitions.

Check out a video I helped shoot!

So I’ve always thought my friend Rj Lim looked like bruno mars. well not like a 100% but maybe 75% and a more squishy version ahah.  So we finally decided that it would be cool to make a music video, dedicate it to Bruno and release it on his bday(oct 8th).  

I haven’t directed a video in a while! The past few years I’ve just done a bunch of behind the scenes for Quest Crew/Lmfao and a bunch of dancers videos and party videos.  Haven’t done anything where I created the concept/ story and directed the talent since my college days! 

So yea, I was super nervous the day of the shoot! Once we got there we had to stray away from our original concept because of time constraints (only like 3 hrs of sunlight to shoot with) and location set backs.

I wanted to make it a “one shot” video.  all of the action sequences were supposed to happen one after another during one shot as Rj walked down the beach. So no cuts at all. just a super smooth video.  Well maybe next time!

Anyways thank you guys all for the support and it would mean so much if you guys could share it/repost it/ retweet it! The idea is to get Bruno to see it. That would be so cool! :)

Midway through the fourth quarter, Leonardo DiCaprio began spinning a top next to his seat. No way the Lakers were getting blown out by the injury-decimated Bucks at home. This had to be someone else’s dream - Andrew Bogut’s? Earl Boykins’? 

Leo thought Kobe’s ejection might be the kick that took him out of the nightmare, but it wasn’t to be. Now he has to hope the Lakers get past the Heat in four days, or they’ll be stuck in limbo until the playoffs.
